Consequently, their electricity consumption patterns feature high power usage, prolonged periods of heavy load, and substantial energy consumption by devices, making them highly suitable for peak-valley arbitrage projects in energy storage. Additionally, energy storage can balance grid load and ensure safe and stable production operations.
In response to these needs, WideIoT provides an efficient and reliable IoT solution for energy storage management parties to achieve information-based and digital management of energy storage power stations. By deploying industrial smart gateways within energy storage stations and connecting them to devices such as Battery Management Systems (BMS), Power Conversion Systems (PCS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), smart meters, temperature and humidity sensors, voltage and current sensors, and cameras, the system can collect real-time parameters such as voltage, current, power capacity, temperature, and power. It enables internet connectivity through 5G/4G/Wi-Fi/Ethernet, facilitating remote monitoring of energy storage equipment status, timely detection of abnormal information, and management control for intelligent operation.
Implemented Functions
Real-time Data Collection: The system collects data from instruments, sensors, inverters, BMS, and other devices in real time. It employs multiple communication methods, including 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet, to reliably upload the data to cloud platforms or supervisory computers. The system features a breakpoint resumption function to ensure the integrity and security of data during transmission.
Localized Edge Computing Capabilities: Leveraging edge computing, the system performs intelligent data collection, filtering, alarm determination, jump triggering, formula calculation, and grouping strategies. This preprocessing standardizes the data, enhancing the system's robustness and reliability in handling high-concurrency data.
Remote Real-time Monitoring: The system provides real-time monitoring of the operational status, working hours, charge-discharge cycles, and key parameters such as voltage, current, temperature, humidity, and power consumption of the energy storage power station. It presents this information visually through large-screen dashboards, dynamic charts, and data reports, enabling quick access to critical information.
Automatic Alarm Notification: By setting alarm thresholds, the system automatically triggers alarms when abnormal data is detected and notifies management personnel in real time via channels such as WeChat, SMS, and email. This facilitates rapid identification and diagnosis of faulty equipment, allowing timely corrective actions to ensure stable system operation.
Data Statistics and Analysis Support: The system aggregates information on power consumption, failure rates, and energy costs, providing data support for factories. This aids in in-depth analysis and scientific decision-making, continuously optimizing energy utilization efficiency and enhancing overall management levels.
